Today after my VA appointment I went out and tested my Nikkor 40mm f/2 (SE) lens. Much like the Nikkor 28mm from last night, this one is, boring. Useful I supposed for snapping the family here and there, but other than their size and appearances on my Zf from Nikon, they are lack luster in my opinion.
I’ll keep them around, play with them a bunch more, but so far, I’m becoming a fan of my old glass for Pentax on the adapter for this camera. I’ve got a Kalimar 135mm that I’m tempted to drag around tomorrow. It is LONG and skinny, so it is really ugly on camera, but we’ll see.

It was a little chilly in the shadows, but overall it was a really nice day. I know most people that see this site are hoping for pictures of people, big landscapes, or standard “documentary” style images of things you recognize, that’s fine, but I like “interesting” or “fine art” images a lot. Hopefully they can occasionally make you wonder, or follow the image and see the composition or color or style with out getting hung up on “what is that?”.

Anyhow, today’s photos are fine, nothing I’d ever print and display. Here are some of Maynard. Hasn’t playing nice, and I these weren’t with the Nikkor, but one with the 135mm Pentax mount lens, and the other? Maybe this Nikkor? Dunno.
