Jamie and Me wondered around a little today after she finished work. I did 4.42 miles, 9200 steps, and some calories that I don’s really understand. Jamie did more, but I can’t remember how much more. Anyhow, it was a nice day today and perfect for an afternoon stroll.
If you’ve ever went for a walk with someone that’s an avid photographer you know it’s more like stop and go traffic. Jamie went on her exercise walk, and I went on my photography walk. It wasn’t long before she was way up ahead, but since this was an out-and-back, we met back-up on her way back. In between, I took pictures, some of them I really like.
The sun was maybe an hour from becoming golden hour, but minute by minute it was getting chilly and I had become a little sweaty by the time we turned around. Some of the images would have been “bangers” had I waited another hour. These are just a few of them. Regardless, I’ll plop a few in here that I think would make good desktop wallpaper or part of a screen saver.
And of course, there were a few dogs. I’m so bad at approaching people for their dog photos, let alone pictures of anyone, but here are a few. Dogs also do not stop for pictures so often bury.
It was nice to get out and walk for a while. I’m sore now, and my foot is going to be a monster later (Morton Neuroma), but it was good to move the old’ body.
8 out of 10 walk today. Spending out of the house time with Jamie is always nice, the camera is amazing, and the weather was great for a walk, low 30’s (Fahrenheit), no wind, clear skies, and not to many people.
Off to be a vegetable for the rest of the night and get 2025 out of here. Only three more years (or less) of being the global laughingstock. ~me
P.S. Manhole covers like this make me think the guy that put it back is a psychopath!
