Rachel (Indy’s girlfriend) and Abby (Rachel’s roomie) had a house warming get together tonight so I drug my Nikon Zf out and took some very grainy vintage, and often blurry images. I haven’t met Rachel’s parents until tonight so that was a lot of fun. It’s always good to meet the other half of your kid’s lives. Her dad is in the same squadron I was in when I was in the Utah Air National Guard. It was fun to bounce names around and see who we both knew over the years.
I don’t remember everyone’s names, I suck at that, but I’ll remember a face for just about ever. Rachel’s roommate Abby had her parents swing by too. So fun, I think everyone had a nice time.
We left a little bit early, Jamie had a long day and was pooped. I hope we all get to visit another day, it was really nice.

And with that, I’m off to doom scroll, and finish doing some house cleaning on this web server. I can’t believe it’s been up and running almost non stop since July 2021 on the same computer in my basement. The cooling fan went out about three years ago, then the network card died a couple years ago, so all of this is coming to you via USB to network adapter. I’m scared to build a new server because I have never been able to restore a backup. Whoop! ~me
