Jamie has been following The House Cat Cafe in the Instagram after meeting them last year (2024’ish). Today, they had their Soft Opening and we walked over to meet them and the kitties. Apparently it was nap time because they couldn’t care less that anyone was there. This weekend it was free to sip coffee in the cat area, but next week onward it’s a pay to play situation.

The cafe was built in a run down home. They’ve turned it into a nice place for some coffee, doing home work, and watching cats do what cat’s do. The staff were very friendly and the customers seemed happy to be supporting this local business. If you’re ever in Ogden, or live here, swing by and get some caffeine in your system.

We’ll be back soon. This trip we expected loser temps so in a few short minutes we were all sweating and ready for the cool air of outside. Once home I edited the images and ran over to the junk yard with Indy to get stuff and things. Just a heads up Tear A Part is officially off our Christmas list, they’re WAAAAAY expensive. It would have been far cheaper and easier to let the internet handle our parts. Even NEW parts are cheaper in many instances. Do not shop at Tear A Part, they’re probably not going to have what you need, and charge you more than new.
Off to watch some NASCAR, and figure out why the arthritis in my right hip is kicking my ass so bad.
