First time since I got this Nikon Zf camera I walked the town a few streets over. I’m still learning the camera, but it did adequate I guess. It is a heavy camera with the bigger lens, but with the small 50mm from the 70’s it was nice. This first batch is with the lager 24-70mm 2.8 S lens i bought when I bought the camera.

I tried to carry this camera on my side covered with my arm because the lens is about the size of a man’s shoe. Here are a few more.

The rest were taken with the Kalimar 50mm f/1.7 from the 70’s that is for my Pentax cameras. I used an adapter so I can use of on the new Nikon Zf. I can’t say I like the quality, but it is fine for what it is (I think I paid $10 shipped a few years ago).

Here are two taken at 50mm. Left is my expensive lens, right is my $10 Kalimar lens. I don’t see the price difference 🙂 .

I’ve learned my lesson on pro-level lenses this little walk. Stay mid-grade and you’ll be fine.
This weekend I hope to wonder around somewhere with this new kit, but I am still feeling weak after what ever I had a few weeks ago. Until then, take care. ~me
