Tonight was absolutly “blagh!” I used my new to me lens tonight. The 28mm Nikkor lens I talked about the other night. It’s a better lens than the old one from my Pentax, but it is lifeless. I have its bother the 40mm also now, and I walked around with it today after my VA appointment, it also feels lifeless. They’re both “SE” or Special Edition lenses form Nikon for the vinage looking camera I have (the Nikon Zf), but they are plastic, and boring I guess. They weren’t expencive, but still, blagh.
I tired to take pictures that were interesting, not a lot to take pictures of walking around my building, but it was a good excersize to pracrtice using my camera and this lens.
It didn’t take many imges before I realized this lens was clear, and could be crisp, but these night images are so boring.
I’m absolutly uninspired by these. I can’t imagine how profesional fine art photographers keep their mojo flowing. Here are a few more I liked better.
Anyhow, at least I took some images, edited them, and wrote a post. Maybe over the weekend I’ll find inspiration.
