An Early Christmas

Since this year, Charlotte’s visitation is over X-Mas, we decided to have it early so she can enjoy some of her gifts. She’ll be heading home a couple days after. First off, Maynard LOVED all the paper. Click to enlarge… I assume you know how to do that, but I wonder sometimes.

Maynard deep in the papers.

This little stocking tree stand was Jamie’s idea. She snagged a 4×4, a topper, and a round base. I did the cut, sand, and stain work. It’s a very creative and handy way to handle stockings when your living-room is the size of a shoe box.

Presents around the Stocking Pole.

While we waited to get rippin’ in, the kids of course, were playing games together on their phones (truth be told, I was cruising Facebook Marketplace, and B&H Photo, so I am guilty too).

Okay, so them we broke it down, and started to rip in. Pretty chill, and warm morning, the presents were meaningful and needed.

One of the funniest gifts was Indy’s gift to Jamie. Yup, Utah Mammoth Blue Crocks. I don’t see her going in public with them on, but maybe one day, at Walmart.

With all that out of the way, we morphed into chill and soak it in mode. So I played with my camera while Jamie took pictures of the kids.

With that the bulk of X-mas 2025 is in the books. I’ve got a few more things for Mendee, my mom and dad, but it’s basically just visiting and relaxing until Charlotte flies out.

Salutations and I hope you have the holiday season you deserve. ~me
