Through information I received from my therapist with the VA. I joined Continue Mission, well, requested, to be added to the mailing list more like it. They do all kinds of events for veterans here in Utah. I’ve been getting their e-mail for a few years and my schedule finally allowed me to go meet everyone. I do not remember anyone’s names. I figure I need to attend a few dozen of these before any of them sink in. The Instagram page has a plethora of images for you to look at.
I didn’t take many pictures, and the ones I did take feel “blah” but that’s how the ball rolls most of the time I guess. They picked me up at the Woods cross Front-runner station, and drive a few of us out to the state capital to see the Museum of Utah.
We had scheduled a small walk after, but we all enjoyed this more than we expected and ended up skipping the walk. Loved getting out before work, it was interesting, and nice to meet some fellow vets.
