Well, damn .. that’s about all I have to say about tonight’s game. Pretty good seats, didn’t have Veggie in the net, but Vitek Vanecek does a pretty good job as backup, we still lost 3-2 in Overtime. We get a point going to overtime regardless, and we’re still 4th in our division, but .. ugh! The guys felt slow or something tonight. Columbus even had a hard loss last night to Colorado, they should have been tired.
After a short scuffle with the guys making sure we weren’t bringing anything in unauthorized, we got to our seat, and excitedly waited for the national anthem to finish up. The girl they have singing for us is pretty good. Gets it done with out too much personalization, and the game can kick off.
Here are our goalies, and I guess the other team had a goalie too. Ole’ what’s his name I suppose. 😉

It wasn’t an embarrassing game by any means, but it’s always tough to loose in overtime. We were a man down because of a tripping call against one of our new guys (the refs didn’t seem to see the tripping that the other team did to us all night, being new in the NHL is hard). We did knock a ref on his keaster accidentally, that was good. See images below.

We also got to peek in on Matt McConnell, Dominic Moore, Nick Olczyk, Kim Becker, and Sarah Merrifield. We weren’t sitting in a very good spot to steal pictures of them, but Nick, he was on point, front and center for us (between the benches). I snapped a picture of Tusky, and Jamie hit up Broccoli Brandon for a magnet of his face hole. I snapped a picture as we walked along the construction sidewalk.

Jamie and I have a great time every game, no matter where we sit. It is a lot more fun when we win, but I am 100% with Team Mammoth win or loose, they’re all great guys from what I’ve seen and heard, so supporting them is a blast.

Go enjoy some Hockey at any level, it’s far superior to any other team sport in the world. ~me
P.S. The camera I used was the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ270. It has a monster zoom, not great 12 megapixel images (online says 16 mega pixels, but in camera menu says 12), it’s legal at the game, so I use it. If I could bring my Pentax or Nikon cameras, the world would be a peace and all would be right in the world.
