She’s such a bee-otch, or her dad was popping a giant flash in her face while she tried to take a nap, but we’ll forget about that detail, it doesn’t matter.
Speaking of detail, this new strobe has more pizzazz (I think the kids today call it “Rizz”) than my on camera / off camera flashes (also called a strobe). The new (to me because MUCH cheaper than new) flash is a Godox MS300-V and the (new to me) Godox 20×52″ Softbox. I’ve kind of fallen inline with the Godox ecosystem because they’re really good, kind of an industry standard, work with Pentax and do NOT cost Apple ecosystem prices.
I purchased this flash because I hope to take some outside images and this will hopefully have enough punch to override the daytime sun when needed. There are some techniques I’m looking forward to trying that make daytime pictures look really flattering and amazing no matter how sunny it is.
And, the cat:
Now that that has been accomplished, we’re off to gather and prepare for tomorrow, and this weekend (Jamie got us a new fridge, and it’s getting here tomorrow!).
