A few pictures while we wondered around some of Pocatello.
Wonderin’ Pocatello
A Whale in Salt Lake City!?
While out running arronds, we decided to venture up the road a bit, and see what all the nonsense is about a whale sticking out of the ground just outside of down town.
Jobies and PENGUINS!
People, smelly kids, snot, and adorable animals of all kinds (especially the Penguins).
Historical Architecture, and Jobies
A few pictures from the Salt Lake City Masonic Temple (Home of the Utah Grand Lodge).
Great architecture, poor white balance, and many are grainy and borderline blurry but it was fun taking the images.
Liberty Park
Nice walk around Liberty Park. Google Fit says 3 miles, but I call bull shit.
A Day in Murray
A few images from around the Post Office in Murray.
Ridin’ the Bus
Took a bus to Dayton’s work. I think public transit is under rated.
Strolling Around Ogden
A short stroll around 24th and 25th streets in Ogden Utah. A few images, and few people meant for a quiet time down town.
Craft Lake City – Ogden
Craft Lake City walk around in Ogden. Lots of fun, some really good work, and a fun day of being busy.
A Little Bit of Memory Lane
A lot of words about a fresh relationship, and a lot of rambling about uncertainty, excitement, and and being okay with it all.
Flag Rock Trail – Long and Difficult Work
A long hard hike to make sure I had time to work on myself. Inflict physical pain enough I had no choice but to still my mind, and let my thoughts process with out me guiding them around. I hope tomorrow has another difficult hike in store, I need more nature therapy :).
Big Ole’ Loopty Loop
Nice moderately hard hike to keep the mind going well, body working hard, and creative juices flowing.
Malan’s Peak Pt. II
Group hike up to Malan’s Peak. Really fun, not nearly as difficult as the other week, and lots of fun with the entire group.
Kokanee Skullcrack Trail
Really great hike up past Pineview Reservoir. Really relaxed, learned a few things from our host, and had a tasty burger and a beer at the Shooting Star Saloon.
Picking Shit Up, and Climbing Around
Pliking Group – Picking up trash as you hike, or walk, or just scour a trail in the middle of the city.
Apologetic Laxity For Reasons
Inside my head, writing in this blog is as vital to my healing journey, and self care process as seeing my therapist, photography, hiking, and the medication I take (not anything big, just anxiety/depression stuff). Yesterday however, I decided to offer my help, unasked for, unrequested, and hopefully appreciated. This blog is a little about my walk today, and a […]
Whoa (N)ALLY What Do I Do?
This hike was quite a bit different than my normal hikes. Tonight I wasn’t in my head, working through an issue I was dealing with, guilt I was working on forgiving myself for, and I wasn’t hiking to get a circular thought out of my mind. Tonight, I was thinking about being in the dating world again. The people I’ve […]
Hell Canyon – Not Really A Canyon
Weird little hike, great views, non-existent canyon, and great wind, rain, and cool temps.
Avenues Street Festival
Couple hours at a street fair. Lots of people watching, and some fun weather.
Heber Creeper And Lots Of Blue Sky
An old train, guitar toting musician, snacks, wonderful views, a dad joke spinning cowboy, and three wonderful kids that let me take pictures of them, crack jokes with them, and play music a little too loud.
