Bugs, and Weeds, and Bugs

Wondered around the Wasatch again tonight. Could have been a great hike if not for the extensive foliage and plethora of bugs trying to abscond with their own lives via my head lamp. I think I ate at least two dozen of them, but we’re not going to talk about that.

I only took a few images because bugs, and I didn’t complete the entire loop because foliage. I thought about pushing my way through the overgrowth but as many bugs as there were and the amount of random animal drippings on the trail I didn’t want to push my luck.

The moon was amazing dancing behind the clouds. I tried to get some good images. They’re okay, but they don’t feel in focus to me. If you zoom in on a few of them, you can see the blinking aircraft lights in a few of them. The clouds don’t look sharp because the exposure was 30 seconds and the movement of the clouds caused blur.

Here are the few pictures I took while walking Lone Oak Loop over Layton Utah.

Nothing profound this hike. The bugs really make taking images difficult. I vote to legalize DDT just for a decade or so until the bugs get under control again 😉 (Just kidding, I like my Bald Eagles healthy).
